Kelsey is finally back to her normal self. She is on spring break this week so that is also helping tremendously. She has a ton of follow up appointments in April to make sure everything is functioning the way it should. I talked to her kidney dr. on Monday and he said that there is nothing to worry about with the kidneys. Even though her actual dx is kidney failure, it really isn't. He said that people can function fine at 50%. It is when it gets down to like 30% that you have a real problem. He also said it is a very slow process and would take 5 years for her to get down that low. Her heart dr. told me that the ear infection she had at the beginning of this month played havoc on her system. Since she is immunosuppressed any kind of infection will take a long time for her to recover from.
I am happily married to my second husband Mike and have 2 BEAUTIFUL children. Kelsey is 16 and Sam is 15. Hence the name of my blog. It is the last name of my children. Believe me they are anything but what the word bland means. They light up my world every day-even when they drive me crazy. I also love to read. Sometimes I read 3 books at a time. Another hobby is taking pictures of my loved ones and then scrapbooking them. I own a video store called Movie House so I watch a LOT of movies. O'Doyle Rules! And my best friend is Jesus Christ. I live for Him and my prayer is one day to actually be the person He created me to be.
